The initial idea was clear and simple – everybody has the right to move around freely. Mobility difficulties can make everything complicated. At the same time, there is an enormous desire to return to an active and independent life in case of such problems. The persistence of disabled people, their will to overcome difficulties, and the desire to live an active and fulfilling life are always motivating for Manafeth. Thousands of discussions, thousands of difficulties resolved, and thousands of satisfied customers. We view mobility aids as a means to offer something precious – freedom from limitations. We met people who needed a little bit of independence, families that were looking for appropriate support, and companies that wanted to make their premises more accessible. Every person had their specific needs, and all of them had stories behind them. We are ready to hear those stories because the right solution can be found only when you understand the person himself. Despite all the years gone by, there is something that hasn’t changed: our commitment to quality. After all, our products are much more than just that; they provide freedom, confidence, comfort, and the opportunity to do more. This journey has been full of challenges, lessons, relationships, and many proud moments. However, despite all those years, there is something that hasn’t changed, and we are excited to keep doing just that for the years ahead.

The Beginning of Manafeth

Sometimes, the hardest part is not the journey itself, but finding the support that makes the journey possible. Twenty years ago, in 2004, Manafeth started its trip in Dubai with one mission: to ease the lives of people who have any difficulties with moving about. During those times, the industry was not big, and there were not many suppliers. There was a demand for good mobility products and mobility consultants who could help People of Determination live their lives better. Even though Manafeth was founded in Dubai, the first project of Manafeth took place in Pakistan, where Manafeth did the modifications of ambulances. We intended to solve the problem of insufficient accessible transportation, driving aids, and the physical barriers that face People of Determination and older people. We believed that every person has the right to enjoy the best possible solutions in terms of mobility and accessibility without having to think of any costs or restricted access. Our mission from day one was simple: independence, respect, and accessibility for People of Determination and seniors.

The company started with the conversion of ambulances and then moved on to the rental of medical equipment such as the medical bed, and proceeded to sell modified ambulances, wheelchairs, medical beds, and wheelchair lifts for vehicles. As Manafeth progressed, the variety of solutions also increased. But the company’s mission remained the same: put quality first, make mobility easier, and help people live with greater freedom and independence.

Manafeth Begins

The company was founded twenty years ago in Dubai with a dedicated crew of people and a clear purpose. This purpose is to ensure high-quality mobility and accessibility solutions that will be affordable, convenient, and available. What initially was just an idea quickly expanded into a broader vision of supporting people, families, and businesses in their search for mobility solutions of good quality.

First Major Mobility Project

The story of our company began with ambulance modification. It became clear to us that the modification of the ambulance with wheelchair lifts could transform not only the design but also the patient transport process in many aspects, making it safer and more practical. 

Expansion of Product Range

Modification of the ambulance was just the starting point. We were increasingly approached by people with varying needs. So we began to offer the modified ambulance as well. It just kept leading to another. The number of products was increasing with the number of people. 

Vehicle Accessibility Solutions Expanded

Then the larger question arose: Why stop with just ambulances? The company began providing modified accessible vehicles in order to facilitate travel by wheelchair users with fewer constraints. The approach remained pretty much the same: making access to the vehicle, seating there, and leaving it much easier.

Rental Services Introduced/Expanded

Not all requirements for mobility are permanent. There may be a time when the user only requires the use of a medical bed or other mobility equipment for a short time period. This is why rental was introduced, and now the consumer can get the equipment he needs without buying it permanently.

Major Fleet/Taxi Accessibility Project

The project quickly expanded to cover the taxi fleet of Dubai. Manafeth fitted lifts into more than 20 taxis, thus making these taxi rides more accessible. Having another taxi with accessibility facilities means another reason for wheelchair users to go out.

500+ Vehicle Installations

From what was initially done on an individual basis, we have now completed 500+ vehicle installations. It means that each vehicle we transform becomes an opportunity for someone to move around with a bit more ease and confidence. We provide vehicles with driving aids, wheelchair ramps, and lifts according to the needs of disabled people. For us, this figure is more than just a number.

3,000+ Customers Served

Our Future Plans For Manafeth

The next 20 years will be even more exciting than the previous ones. Manafeth aims to continue improving mobility by offering mobility solutions that are more effective and efficient. This will be achieved through the integration of new technologies and mobility solutions in our operations. However, we are not satisfied with the current situation in the UAE. We intend to extend what we have learned and created here to the rest of the world. The idea is to go beyond borders but retain our original focus.
